Welcome. I'm an aging ex-hippie who lost his illusions long ago. Perhaps it was when I was a reporter dealing with politicians on a daily basis. Being of semi-sound mind, I've been taking my retirement in bits and pieces as I can afford to do so for many years. And, having learned long ago that you can't take it with you, I've skipped the step where one accumulates hordes of possessions. My mantra is "Enough is as good as a feast."
